WAYS TO DONATE
1) Give using pre-authorized payments
If you give the same amount on a regular basis and would like to have your donations deducted directly from your bank account, we can set that up for you. If you would like to give weekly the deduction from your bank would occur every Monday. If you would like to give monthly you can choose to have your donation deducted from your bank on the 1st or the 15th of the month.

Or you can fill out the PAD’s Agreement Form and return to the church office.
2) Need to change or stop your pre-authorized payments?
You can make changes or stop the automatic payment at any time. Please contact Miriam Clarke at least 5 business days before the effective date of the change. If you would like to change bank account information you will need to fill out a new pre authorized giving form, which you can get from the church office.
3) Give with a personalized envelope
Giving with a personalized envelop allows donations to be received anonymously.
If you use the blue envelopes found in the pews, simply check ‘envelopes please’ on the bottom of the envelope. Otherwise please contact Catherine Berry (catherine@nullchartwellchurch.com) to request personalized envelopes.
These envelopes can be used to donate by cash or cheque through the Sunday morning collection. Please make cheques payable to ‘Chartwell Baptist Church’.
4) Give online using Canada Helps
You also have the option of giving securely online through CanadaHelps.com
Please be aware that there is an administration fee levied through Canada Helps and the credit card companies so we will only receive 96.1% of the total donation.

6) Shares
We do accept donations of shares. If you contribute shares you do not pay capital gains tax. For more information on how to donate shares, please contact our financial Administrator, Miriam Clarke(accounts@nullchartwellchurch.com) or at 905-844-2801 x21
Chartwell recommends that donations for other charities be sent directly to those charities. Income tax receipts for forwarded donations will be sent from the designated charity.
